  • Ski
    Patent number: 8408579
Abstract: Ski adapted to receive a skier's boot, the ski having a front tip, a rear end, front and rear contact lines, and a central zone between the front tip and the rear end. The distance separating the forward contact line and the ski tip is greater than or about 500 mm. The shovel, located between the front tip and the forward contact line has a convex zone which includes a first shovel portion having a lateral profile extending between an arc of circle with a 9-meter radius and an arc of circle with a 5-meter radius; a second shovel portion contiguous with the first shovel portion and having a lateral profile extending between an arc of circle with a 9-meter radius and an arc of circle with a 1-meter radius; a third shovel portion contiguous to the second shovel portion and extending to the front tip of the ski.

  • Patent number: 8096573
Abstract: The invention relates to a gliding board including a structural beam defining a longitudinal direction and having a gliding surface bordered on each side with a lateral running edge, each running edge having an edge body and an anchoring blade, the anchoring blades of the two running edges being oriented opposite one another. An inextensible connecting element locally connects the anchoring blades, at least along a portion at least of the length of the beam, and the connecting element is oriented in the extension of each of the blades.

  • Patent number: 7954841
Abstract: Gliding board that includes an upper sub-assembly, a lower sub-assembly, and an intermediate core, the upper sub-assembly including a first longitudinal opening, the lower sub-assembly including a second longitudinal opening, and the intermediate core including a third longitudinal opening, each of the first, second, and third longitudinal openings being positioned at the rear end of the gliding board, the gliding board further including a rigidifying element that is inserted simultaneously in the first, second, and third longitudinal openings. The rigidifying element can have a planar, bulging, or convex lower surface.

  • Publication number: 20100148472
Abstract: An alpine ski includes a zone for mounting a binding centered on a mounting point, and a single particular flexion deformation zone arranged between the mounting zone and one or each end of the ski. Under a static load of 900 Newtons, applied to the center of the particular deformation zone and along a direction perpendicular to the ski sole, the deformation zone adopts a generally dihedral configuration, whose deflection is greater than or equal to 13 mm, 15 mm in a particular embodiment, the ski being supported on two rods arranged under the sole, symmetrically on both sides of the zone and spaced from one another by an axial distance equal to 400 mm.
