Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a system for opening a door of a vehicle from an interior of the vehicle. The system includes a handle disposed on an inner surface of the door, a proximity sensor, a latch assembly connected with the handle, and a controller in communication with the proximity sensor and the latch assembly. The handle has a connection portion pivotally connected with the door and a grabbing portion opposite to the connection portion. The proximity sensor is configured to detect an object in proximity. The latch assembly is configured to be locked to keep the door closed or unlocked to allow the door opened. The controller is configured to, at a first mode, activate the latch assembly when the proximity sensor detects the object in proximity such that an opening action on the handle is capable of unlocking the latch assembly.
