    Abstract: A sole of a shoe with a plate co-molded with a foam structure is disclosed. The sole includes a plate and a foam body. The foam body defines a bottom surface, a top surface, a cavity, and a depression. The first end of the cavity is defined by the bottom surface and the second end of the cavity is defined by the plate. The first end of the depression is defined by the top surface and the second end of the depression is defined by the plate. The plate is made from a first material and the foam body is made from a second material, such as bio-based materials.
