  • Publication number: 20140201819
Abstract: A method and a system for managing user's reputation information for a given service. • Patent number: 8675625
Abstract: An access point sends geographical positioning information from the access point to mobile terminals and to a mobile terminal which receives this information and estimates the position thereof based on said information. Geographical-locating architecture for WiFi 802.11 mobile terminals on ADSL access points generally includes geographical positioning information, i.e., the geographical coordinates of the access point during the registration phase thereof. The access point includes this geographical information in the information posted so that the mobile terminals can be connected to same. The mobile terminals can thus know the geographical location where they are located with an approximation that will depend directly on the number of access points that the mobile terminal can detect.

  • Publication number: 20130227663
Abstract: The method comprises: i) obtaining, an authentication registrar (S-CSCF) of a IMS control layer, two sets of IMS credentials for a user: a first set from a user equipment (UE) and a second set from a Home Server Subscriber, or HSS (100); and ii) said authentication registrar (S-CSCF) comparing said first and second sets of IMS credentials, and depending on the result of said comparison granting or denying the access of said user to IMS services. The method further comprises, before and in order to perform said steps i) and ii), obtaining, the user equipment (UE), the first set of IMS credentials from a network element (40) via a HTTP-based mechanism. The system is adapted for implementing the method, and the network element is also adapted for implementing the method and for being included in the system.

  • Publication number: 20110206025
Abstract: The invention relates to an access point (20) which sends geographical positioning information from the access point to mobile terminals (10) and to a mobile terminal which receives this information and estimates the position thereof based on said information. Geographical-locating architecture for WiFi 802.11 mobile terminals on ADSL access points generally consists of including geographical positioning information, i.e., the geographical coordinates of the access point during the registration phase thereof. The access point includes this geographical information in the information posted so that the mobile terminals can be connected to same. The mobile terminals can thus know the geographical location where they are located with an approximation that will depend directly on the number of access points that the mobile terminal can detect.

  • Publication number: 20090076952
Abstract: Methods, information processing systems, and wireless communication systems are disclosed for providing variable charging account assignment for multiple services. A request for a plurality of services is received from a wireless device (110), and a plurality of charging accounts associated with the wireless device (110) are identified. One of the charging accounts is selected for each of the services, with a first charging account being selected for a first of the services and a second charging account being selected for a second of the services (814). A first charging account identifier associated with the first charging account and a second charging account identifier associated with the second charging account are transmitted to a credit control server (120).

  • Publication number: 20080268867
Abstract: A notification apparatus for a cellular communication system may transmit a notification message to nearby remote terminals if a first remote terminal (101) cannot be contacted. The notification apparatus comprises a call setup detector (203) detecting an unsuccessful incoming call setup for the first remote terminal (101). The call setup detector (203) is coupled to a first location processor (209) determining a location of the first remote terminal (101). A second location processor (211) determines a location of at least a second remote terminal (103) and a distance processor (213) evaluates a distance criterion for the first remote terminal (101) and the second remote terminal (103). A notification processor (215) transmits a notification message to the second remote terminal in response to the distance criterion. The notification message comprises information that the incoming call setup for the first remote terminal is attempted.
