  • Publication number: 20190210050
Abstract: A pump dispenser head has a lockdown feature to prevent unintended dispensing during shipment. Releasing the lock-down feature requires increased torque compared with typical dispensers, allowing the dispenser to be shipped with less packaging while still preventing leakage of the contents.

  • Patent number: 10322428
Abstract: A sprayer device with a trigger operated pump is operative for pumping and spraying liquid from an attached liquid container. The sprayer device includes an integrally molded valve body provided with a base portion that is configured to be mounted to the neck of the liquid container and a delivery nozzle from which the liquid is sprayed. A pumping chamber in the valve body is in fluid communication with an inside of the fluid container and is further in fluid communication with the delivery nozzle. The valve body is further provided with a head portion that has a filling passage extending between the head portion and the base portion such that a liquid received in the head portion flows through the valve body, around the pumping chamber and exits the base portion into the mounted liquid container.

  • Publication number: 20190060930
Abstract: A pump engine assembly includes an output cylinder that may be customized to include a stop portion limiting the stroke of a piston to produce a particular output such that customized pump systems may be produced from similar parts with the exchange of only a single part—the output cylinder, and wherein movement of a fluid lock in a product chamber creates a suck-back feature capable of pulling product away from a dispensing head opening.

  • Publication number: 20180311693
Abstract: A pump dispenser includes a dispenser head rotatable relative to a locking ring for a lock-down feature during shipment. The lock-down feature requires a greater torque to initially rotate the dispenser head from the lock-down position, and a lesser torque to further rotate the dispenser head to a use position. The lock-down feature incorporates an interference between the dispenser head and locking ring, either inside the dispenser head, on an outer periphery of the dispenser head, or between threads connecting the dispenser head and locking ring.
