  • Publication number: 20240133269
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer storage media for providing drilling advisory recommendation using a drilling advisory engine in a material processing system that supports drilling operations. A drilling advisory recommendation identifies prescriptions (e.g., an arrangement of components and settings) in the material processing system to support real time optimization of drilling operations. The drilling advisory engine can be implemented as a real time prescriptive tool for operators (e.g., field personnel) to offer guidance for drilling operations. In operation, input data comprising real time sensor data of drilling operations, historical drilling information, and contextual drilling information associated with a drilling site are accessed. The input data is analyzed using two or more drilling advisory models that support generating drilling advisory recommendations that identify prescriptions for drilling operations.

  • Publication number: 20240066802
Abstract: In some examples, a system receives measurement data from measurements of first three-dimensional (3D) parts formed on a build bed of an additive manufacturing machine with different contone levels of a liquid agent, and determines, based on the measurement data, geometrical deviations of the first 3D parts from a baseline geometrical property. The system generates, based on the determined geometrical deviations, a model that correlates contone levels of the liquid agent to corresponding geometrical deviations, the model for use in an adjustment of the liquid agent based on a contone level adjustment to compensate for a geometrical deviation when building second 3D parts with the additive manufacturing machine or another additive manufacturing machine.

  • Publication number: 20230059565
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer storage media for providing a dynamically weighted unobserved component model (“DW-UCM”) in a demand forecasting engine of a data analytics system. Dynamic weighting is performed based on a machine learning framework that includes tools, interfaces, and a library for developing improved machine learning models (e.g., dynamic demand forecasting models) of a dynamic weighting machine learning pipeline. In particular, the dynamic weighting machine learning pipeline can include a first module that is configured to predict if a segment (e.g., travel segment) under evaluation is open or closed (e.g., due to a restriction or rule), a second module that forecasts near-term recovery (e.g., approx. 0 - 4 weeks), and a third module that predicts longer term recovery.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing pieces of composite material having varied thicknesses is disclosed. The method includes a first stacking stage and a second forming and drying stage. In the second stage, a forming tool, which is adapted to the configuration of the piece, except in the zone affected by the change in thickness, is used. In the first stage, one or more pre-forms of the piece are stacked successively with some cloths having the dimensions needed for producing the change of thickness, some laminates of a peelable material, and some supplementary cloths in such a way that the resulting layers have the thickness needed to be adapted to the forming tool. At the end of the second stage, laminates resulting from the supplementary cloths and laminates of a peelable material are removed.

  • Patent number: 5701600
Abstract: A method of calibrating a radio receiver (100) which has a desired IF center frequency (fo) includes generating and applying to the receiver's demodulator (126) a plurality of reference signals. The demodulated reference signals are used to generate, for the demodulator, a transfer function that is predictive of amplitude versus frequency characteristics of signals to be demodulated by the demodulator (126). The transfer function (202) is used to determine a frequency offset between a received signal's intermediate frequency and the desired frequency fo. The determined frequency offset is used to adjust the IF frequency of the received signal towards the desired frequency fo. The adjustment process preferably continues until the frequency offset is below a desired threshold. A receiver using the disclosed method is also described.
