  • Patent number: 10528794
Abstract: A process at an electronic computing device that tailors an electronic digital assistant generated inquiry response as a function of previously detected user ingestion of related information includes receiving, from a video capture device configured to track a gaze direction of a first user, a video stream including a first field-of-view of the first user. An object is then identified in the video stream first field-of-view remaining in the first field-of-view for a determined threshold period of time, and the object processed via a video processing algorithm to produce object information, which is then stored. Subsequently, an inquiry is received from the first user for information, and it is determined that the inquiry is related to the object information. The electronic digital assistant then provides a response to the inquiry as a function of the object information.

  • Patent number: 10460746
Abstract: A process for real-time language detection and language heat map data structure modification includes a computing device receiving, from a first electronic audio source, first audio content and identifying a first geographic location of the first audio content. The computing device then determines that the first audio content includes first speech audio and identifies a first language in which the first speech audio is spoken. A first association is created between the first geographic location and the first language, and a real-time language heat-map data structure modified to include the created first association. Then a further action is taken by the computing device as a function of the modified real-time language heat-map data structure.

  • Publication number: 20190318035
Abstract: An input audio signal is monitored at an electronic digital assistant of an electronic computing device. The assistant determines that the audio signal includes audio from multiple speaking parties, identifies first and second parties of the multiple parties and roles of the parties, accesses a database of multi-party interaction templates and selects, as a function of the roles of the parties, a particular multi-party interaction template that matches the roles, and then generates, based on a detected content of the audio signal and the particular multi-party interaction template, a database query to retrieve information responsive to or supplemental to content of the audio signal. The assistant then causes the query to be performed results of the query provided to the first party, the second party, a dispatcher or administrator associated with the parties, or a computer-aided-dispatch system associated with the parties.

  • Publication number: 20190286901
Abstract: A device, system and method for generating an alert and an automatic search for a candidate subject is provided. The device monitors one or more data sources to identify a candidate subject. The device determines, from rules for rating candidate subjects stored in a memory, a rating of the candidate subject. When the rating meets a first threshold: the device transmits, to one or more communication devices, an alert identifying the candidate subject. When the rating meets a second threshold, lower than the first threshold: the devices provides, a classifier defining the candidate subject to an object recognition engine to cause the object recognition engine to automatically search for the candidate subject, using the classifier, in multimedia data received at one or more edge devices. The multimedia data may include images.

  • Patent number: 10419312
Abstract: A process for improved real-time conflict identification and resolution, and information corroboration, during an interrogation relative to an incident includes capturing a first real-time digital audio or video stream from a first interviewee under interrogation by a first interviewer relative to an incident. The first real-time digital audio or video stream is converted to a first digital text string, which is then semantically processed to identify and store first information relative to the incident. Stored second information created via interrogation of a second interviewee under interrogation relative to the incident is accessed, and a conflict between the stored first information and the stored second information is identified. A visual or audio prompt is generated associated with the conflict and an indication of the conflict is played back via the visual or audio prompt to the first interviewer.

  • Patent number: 10411963
Abstract: A first device in a group of devices is assigned a role of operating as an elected leader node for the group of devices. The elected leader node determines that a sensor entity of a sensor entity type is associated with one device in the group of communication devices. The elected leader node creates a token and associates the token with the sensor entity. The elected leader node also assigns ownership for the token to one device based on the device being associated with the sensor entity and further based on one or more of: at least one incident allocation criterion; at least one sensor entity allocation criterion; and at least one node allocation criterion. One device executes at least one predefined sensor entity rule associated with the sensor resource type based on ownership of the token assigned to the sensor entity.
