    Abstract: A fall hazard safety system includes first and second base units movable with respect to each other. First and second support members are secured to and extend from the first and second base units, respectively. A crossbeam is securable to the first and second support members. A tether is secured to the crossbeam and is securable to a harness for harnessing an individual when support on an elevated surface and for reducing a fall hazard of the individual falling from the elevated surface.
