Patent number: 11152526Abstract: The invention relates to a solar energy collection system that uses linear parabolic concentrators designed on a small scale and with a modular configuration that allows optimum usage of solar collection surface area in places such as the roofs or flat roofs of factories or shops where space is generally small or irregular. The solar collector is coupled in rows actuated by a fully autonomous system for electronically controlling solar tracking, the operation of which is based on an algorithm programmed in a microcontroller. An autonomous solar tracking system can efficiently control two parallel rows with a pre-defined number of solar concentrators, as well as automatically detecting the presence of impurities on a reflecting radiation surface for the maintenance thereof. The thermal energy produced is harnessed by a heat exchanger, the operation of which is based on conduction, convection and radiation for dehydration uses.Type: GrantFiled: February 18, 2013Date of Patent: October 19, 2021Assignee: INVENTIVE POWER S.A. Publication number: 20170319987Abstract: The disclosed method and apparatus separates solid impurities from a fluid containing solid impurities. The method and apparatus allow the introduction of influent comprising a fluid containing solid impurities into a plurality of channels and allowing at least a portion of the solid impurities initially present in the influent to settle on upward-facing surfaces of a plurality of plates forming the channels or slide down the upward-facing surfaces, while permitting fluid, which has been depleted of at least a portion of solid impurities, to flow upward toward the top edges of the plurality of plates. The influent is introduced into the plurality of channels in a manner that inhibits a disrupting or disturbing of the solid impurities, which have separated from the influent.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 22, 2017Publication date: November 9, 2017Applicant: Parkson CorporationInventors: Russell L. COOK, Alejandro MEJIA, Lakshminarasimha KRISHNAPURA

Publication number: 20130264296Abstract: A filtering apparatus removes solid material from a fluid in a channel. The filtering apparatus comprises a housing that comprises a substantially vertical passage, a substantially horizontal passage connected to the vertical passage, and an outlet connected to the substantially horizontal passage; a filter medium comprising a plurality of transverse rods and a plurality of filter plates rotatably disposed along each of the transverse rods; a guide track system configured to guide the endless belt from the channel to the outlet; and a drive mechanism configured to convey the filter medium around the closed loop. The guide track system comprises two or more release points where the bearing portions of the filter plates can rotate about the transverse rods so as to permit dislodgement of the solid material from the filter plates. The two release points are located in a portion of the closed loop in the substantially horizontal passage.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 13, 2013Publication date: October 10, 2013Inventors: Alejandro Mejia, Jesus Rodriquez, David Mitchell

Publication number: 20080106881Abstract: A telecommunications system includes a chassis having a front side and a rear side and a plurality of jacks mounted to the chassis. Each jack includes an IN port, an OUT port and a MONITOR port. A cross-connect panel including an array of cross-connect connection locations is accessible from the front side of the chassis. An optical multiplexer housed within the chassis is electrically connected to the jacks by circuitry within the chassis. The multiplexer is configured to multiplex a plurality of IN electrical signals that are going away from the jacks toward a piece of telecommunications equipment to an IN optical signal and is configured to split an OUT optical signal that is going away from the piece of telecommunications equipment toward the jacks to a plurality of OUT electrical signals, wherein the IN electrical signals and the OUT electrical signals can be monitored by inserting plugs into the MONITOR ports of the jacks.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 31, 2007Publication date: May 8, 2008Applicant: ADC Telecommunications, Inc.Inventors: Gabor Tari, Ferenc Boka, Dominic Louwagie, Alejandro Mejia De Avila, Luis Balandran
