  • Patent number: 11101729
Abstract: A drive circuit is disclosed. The drive circuit includes a high-side switch coupled between a power supply and an inductive load, and a low-side switch coupled between the load and ground. A current sense device is connected in series with the high-side switch, the low-side switch and the load. A control circuit controls the high-side and low-side switches. The control circuit further includes an input coupled to an output of the current sense device, and is configured to selectively provide a current path between the first and second terminals of the inductive load based upon the output of the current sense device. The current path is provided when an overcurrent condition exists, and dissipates energy stored in the inductive load in response to the overcurrent condition.

  • Patent number: 10904749
Abstract: This application relates to techniques for anonymously establishing a secure communication session with a wireless client. A described method, performed by an anonymous wireless host, includes advertising a service implemented by the anonymous wireless host as available over a wireless network, receiving an invitation to establish the secure communication session with the wireless client, transmitting an acceptance of the invitation to the wireless client, and establishing the secure communication session over a communication channel. The invitation is received from the wireless client and the acceptance is transmitted to the wireless client via a broadcast address or a multicast address associated with the wireless network. The secure communication session is used to exchange encrypted data between the service and the wireless client.

  • Patent number: 10595535
Abstract: Described is a composition, which is a natural and organic pesticide, specifically for mitigating, controlling and treating fungicidal, virucidal and bactericidal pathogenic microorganisms in agricultural products such as root crops, fruits and vegetables. Examples of such disease-causing microorganisms are Mycosphaerella fijensis causing black Sigatoka disease in Cavendish (banana), Ralstonia solanacearum causing Moko disease in Cavendish (banana), Lasiodiplodia theobromae causing soft rot or fruit rot in crops and fruits, Fusarium oxysporum causing Panama wilt in fruits and crops, and many others. The composition is a fermented product of tropical plants, carbon source, protein (nitrogen) source, and a carrier agent. The fermented product may help strengthen the plant's immune system to fight pathogenic diseases. Since all the major constituents of the composition are generally regarded as safe, this natural pesticide is found to be non-toxic and safe to humans and animals, and environmentally benign.

  • Publication number: 20190361147
Abstract: The invention notably relates to a computer-implemented method for designing a geological simulation grid, the method comprising: providing a geometrical grid that conforms to a set of geological structures of a geological environment; providing a geometrical surface that represents a geological surface of the geological environment, the geological surface being outside the set of geological structures; identifying geometrical structures of the geometrical grid that each correspond to a respective location of the geometrical surface; and transferring to each identified geometrical structure one or more respective parameters, each parameter being a value of a respective property of the geological surface. This improves the field of geological simulation.

  • Patent number: 10353269
Abstract: A fully confined dual frequency optical resonator configured for optical coupling to light having a first frequency ?1. The dual frequency optical resonator includes a plurality of alternating layer pairs configured in a grating configuration, each layer pair having a first layer formed of a first material and a second layer formed of a second material, the first material and second material being different materials. Each layer having a thickness different than a thickness of an adjacent layer to provide thereby aperiodic layer pairs, the thicknesses of adjacent layers being selected to create, via wave interference with each layer, optical resonances at the first frequency ?1 and a second frequency ?2 which is a harmonic of ?1, and to ensure a maximum spatial overlap between confined modes over the materials such that an overall quality factor Q of at least 1000 is achieved.
