    Abstract: An apparatus and a method to seal and prevent leakage within a downhole tool are disclosed herein. The apparatus includes a first body portion having a first fluid flow path formed therethrough and a second body portion having a second fluid flow path formed therethrough. The second body portion is movable between a first position and a second position with respect to the first body portion. The apparatus further includes a stopper connected to the second body portion and disposed within the first body portion. When the second body portion is in the first position, the stopper sealingly engages the first fluid flow path, and when the second body portion is in the second position, the stopper sealingly disengages from the first fluid flow path.
