Abstract: An aerosol-generating article includes a foamed tobacco-containing aerosol-generating substrate and a plurality of non-tobacco granulated flavour particles incorporated into the aerosol-generating substrate which is provided in the form of a semi-solid matrix. The granulated flavour particles can be distributed evenly in the semi-solid matrix or the granulated flavour particles can be provided in an increasing gradient density towards the longitudinal central axis of the aerosol-generating article.

Abstract: A consumable for an aerosol generation device including a tobacco material configured to generate an aerosol includes an information code for storing information about the consumable, and an aerosol generation device for detecting the code. More specifically, a consumable for use in an aerosol generation device, includes an aerosol-generating substrate and a wrapper, wherein a pattern representing an information code for storing information about the consumable is disposed on the wrapper along the direction which corresponds to the insertion or removal direction of the consumable into or from the aerosol generation device.

Abstract: Nicotine containing article for smokeless and oral usage comprising a wrapping material and a nicotine containing product, the nicotine containing product being arranged inside the wrapping material, wherein the wrapping material encloses the nicotine containing product from all sides and thereby forms the nicotine containing article in the shape of a pouch, and wherein the wrapping material is fluid permeable and thereby allows a fluid, preferably with nicotine absorbed from the nicotine containing product, to pass through it. Abstract: A method for manufacturing a vapour generating article includes: (i) extruding a plurality of elongate vapour generating components; (ii) aligning the plurality of extruded vapour generating components; (iii) assembling the plurality of aligned vapour generating components to form a band; (iv) binding the band of assembled vapour generating components; (v) cutting the bound band of assembled vapour generating components to form the vapour generating article; (vi) after step (i), drying the plurality of vapour generating components. A vapour generating article and a vapour generating system are also disclosed.
