  • Patent number: 11098728
Abstract: An impeller includes a central, shaft or a tube for mounting on a shaft, a hollow hub is located around the shaft or tube, and a series of blades are attached to the outside of the hub by their bases. A reinforcing rib is provided for each blade, and extends on the shaft or tube in a radial direction and forms a facial connection between the shaft or tube and the inside of the hub at a position opposite the attachment of the base of a blade concerned.

  • Patent number: 10965197
Abstract: This invention relates to a method for composing a sleeve assembly suitable for use in containment purposes in high-speed machine that are subjected to high operational temperatures. The method has the steps of providing a composite sleeve and winding at least two layers of woven fabric on top of the composite sleeve and each other, where the woven fabric is impregnated with a thermoset resin. The method additionally has the step of optionally winding a perforated layer on top of an outermost layer of the layers of woven fabric to remove excess resin when the woven fabric is wound over the composite sleeve. The method also includes the steps of wrapping an absorption layer over the composite sleeve for absorbing the excess resin, curing the thermoset resin, and removing the absorption layer and the perforated layer after the curing.

  • Patent number: 10920777
Abstract: A Method for controlling the liquid injection of a compressor device or expander device. This compressor device includes at least one compressor element or expander element, whereby the element comprises a housing that comprises a rotor chamber in which at least one rotor is rotatably affixed by means of bearings, whereby liquid is injected into the element. The method comprises the step of providing two independent separated liquid supplies to the element, whereby one liquid supply is injected into the rotor chamber and the other liquid supply is injected at the location of the bearings. The separated liquid supplies are realised by means of a modular channelling piece of an injection module.
