Abstract: The invention relates to construction using geogrids. The application proposes a refined geogrid laying machine, comprising equipment for storing and expanding the geogrid, including a spool rotating on a frame and designed to wind, store and unwind a length of geogrid consisting of separate geogrid modules of predetermined sizes connected in series, the said spool being connected with an actuator enabling control of uniform winding and/or unwinding the length of the geogrid along the spool axis, means for advancing the length of geogrid along a guideway from the spool, at least two cross members that provide for expanding the geogrid and can be forced apart to form a predetermined angle between them, the said cross members being connected with engaging means to hold the geogrid edges in the process of its expanding between the said cross members.
