Abstract: An improved border barrier system is disclosed. The system includes columns situated periodically along an international border, beams extending horizontally between tops of the columns, metallic based walls extending between each pair of columns, a power line extending within the beams, a continuous electric railway located on top of the horizontal surface, electric rail cars powered by the electric railway, sensor arrays located periodically along the border barrier system, stations located periodically along the border barrier system, each station including a housing structure configured for housing personnel, a power generating station or power relay station coupled to the power line and the electric railway for powering the electric railway, and a tunnel that allows the electric railway to enter one end of the housing structure and exit another end of the housing structure.
