  • Publication number: 20110097398
Abstract: The invention relates to compositions and methods for reducing cross-linking in the gelatin shell of gelatin capsules by incorporation of free amino acid into the capsule shell and by inclusion of an ester of carboxylic acid either into the capsule filling, and/or into the capsule shell and/or into the lubrication agent, or in combinations thereof. Described are soft gelatin capsules characterized by improved stability as compared with gelatin capsules that do not contain amino acid in the shell and carboxylic acid ester in the filling, shell or in the lubrication agent, or in combinations thereof.

  • Publication number: 20110020438
Abstract: The present invention describes soft gelatin capsules that encapsulate a water-insoluble active ingredient and an excipient composed of a crystallization inhibitor that stabilizes the water-insoluble inhibitor. The crystallization inhibitor being at least one mononacylglycerol compound whose acyl group is a fatty acid residue of 6-18 carbon atoms. The capsule contents are more resistant to turbidity, forming a coarse emulsion, and crystallization of the active ingredient compared with compositions absent the crystallization inhibitor.

  • Patent number: 7417847
Abstract: The invention pertains to a current transformer (1?) for enclosed, gas-insulated high-voltage switchgear (10). According to the invention, a current transformer (1?) is characterized in that a removable installation flange (12, 12?) is provided on a fill opening (3c) of the core carrier (11) for one-piece current transformer cores (2). Among other things, embodiments pertain to: a removable installation flange (12, 12?) in the form of a two-part clamping flange (12) or in the form of a one-piece rotary flange (12?) that is screwed on the fill opening (3c) similar to a bayonet catch. Among other things, the attained advantages are: radially increased installation space for one-piece current transformer cores (2); reduced diameter (d) for one-piece current transformer cores (2) and reduced structural volume of the current transformer casing (11a).

  • Patent number: 5753864
Abstract: A supporting insulator has an insulator body in the form of a disk and is made of a cured casting resin, and has at least one cast-in fitting to which high voltage is applied and which is cast in the insulator body and passes therethrough. The cast-in fitting has a cylindrically constructed outer surface which the insulator body encloses. A lip which tapers outwards and is closely connected to the outer surface of the cast-in fitting, is integrally formed on the insulator body. The lip mechanically decouples an edge zone of the insulator body from the actual insulator body.

  • Patent number: 5723814
Abstract: A supporting insulator for installation between connecting flanges of a gas-insulated switching installation is provided with an outer ring, with an insulator body which is in the form of a disk and which is formed of a hardened cast resin, and with at least one cast fitting which is subjected to high voltage and is cast in the insulator body. The outer ring need not be assembled with the insulator body until after the outer ring has been colored. The outer ring includes two identically constructed rings that are joined together in a separable, but positively locking manner such that the insulator body can be separated from the outer ring when the rings are separated.
