  • Patent number: 9964108
Abstract: A variable displacement oil pump is described. The oil pump has a pump body connected to an intake channel and to a delivery channel, a rotor capable of rotating inside the pump body about a rotation axis and provided with a plurality of vanes. The oil pump has an oscillating stator arranged in an eccentric position around the rotor and pivoted inside the pump body at a rotation pin. The oil pump has adjustment means for adjusting the displacement of the oil pump which acts on the oscillating stator to displace it with respect to the rotor and position it in at least one predetermined operative position. The adjustment means has first thrusting means configured to exert a first thrusting action on a first outer surface portion of the oscillating stator arranged on a substantially opposite side with respect to the rotation pin taking as a reference the rotor.

  • Patent number: 9670928
Abstract: A vacuum pump for a motor vehicle engine which has a stator and a chamber, has a side wall, and the side wall has a transversal section with a predetermined shape. The rotor mounted in the chamber is capable of rotating around a rotation axis parallel to the side wall. The vane mounted on the rotor is free to slide in a direction at right angles with respect to the rotation axis of the rotor, and the vane has a predetermined length and two opposite end portions that substantially slide along the side wall of the chamber. At least one of the end portions of the vane has at least one part that has a bend radius substantially equal to that of a part of the side wall, when the one vane is at a reference operating position.

  • Patent number: 7918659
Abstract: The invention relates to a vacuum pump (1) for vehicle motors, comprising a stator (2), a chamber defined within said stator (2) and at least one vane rotatably mounted inside said chamber so as to generate a depression. The stator (2) comprises inlet openings for air and oil, and a first discharge outlet (30) on which a first one-way valve operates (35). According to the invention, the stator (2) further comprises a second discharge outlet (50) separate from said first discharge outlet (30) and a second one-way valve (55) operating on said second discharge outlet (50). In this manner it is possible to separate the air discharge from the oil discharge, both physically and operationally. The invention further relates to a one-way valve for said vacuum pump. Such valve comprises a blade body (60) having a first blade which defines a first one-way valve (35) and at least one second blade which defines at least one second one-way valve (55).

  • Publication number: 20070059187
Abstract: An oil and vacuum pumps group (1) for a motor vehicle engine includes a motion transmission shaft (30) extending along a main axis X-X, an oil pump (10) and a vacuum pump (20) fitted on the motion transmission shaft and a gear (40) also fitted on the motion transmission shaft and adapted to derive a rotary motion from a driving gear (41) of a motor vehicle engine and to transfer said rotary motion to the motion transmission shaft to drive the oil pump and the vacuum pump. Advantageously, the oil and vacuum pumps group of the invention is structurally independent from and adapted to be associated with said motor vehicle engine. Preferably, the oil pump (10) and the vacuum pump (20) are units which are structurally independent from each other and the gear (40) of the oil and vacuum pumps group is operatively placed between the oil pump and the vacuum pump.
