Abstract: A vaccine for treating and/or preventing a brain tumor. More particularly, a modified vesicular stomatitis virus glycoprotein (VSV-G) including at least one tumor antigen, or a fragment thereof, for use in preventing and/or treating a brain tumor in an individual in need thereof, when administered before a surgery intended to remove all or part of the tumor, such as, a tumor resection. The inventors have shown that vaccination of individual with a brain tumor with a vaccine including a nucleic acid sequence encoding a modified VSV-G may be combined to a tumor resection in order to ameliorate the prognostic of the individuals.
