Abstract: The plant comprises a plurality of shuttles (10) each carrying at least one die part (110), the shuttles being conveyed in a moulding apparatus (20) which is provided with a plurality of punches and a corresponding plurality of seats (21) for holding the shuttles (10), the seats arranged to receive and release the shuttles (10),the moulding apparatus comprising means for inserting the punches into the die cavities (11, 12) of the shuttle and means for withdrawing the punches to achieve a compression moulding cycle for the article. The shuttles (10) are independent of the moulding apparatus. Each shuttles (10)comprises at least one circuit (15) for at least one conditioning fluid for controlling the temperature of the article located in the die, the moulding apparatus (20) comprising at least one feed system (25) for at least one conditioning fluid to feed the conditioning fluid to the shuttles (10) inserted in the seats (21) of the moulding apparatus (20).

Abstract: The apparatus serves for compression moulding performs (9) for synthetic resin containers by inserting under pressure a mould punch (15) into a die cavity (20a) loaded with a charge (8), the preforms (9) comprising an upper neck (91) provided with projections and a hollow body (92) lying below the neck (91). The apparatus comprises a plurality of first die components (21), each arranged to form the outer surface of the hollow body (92) of the perform (9), and being operated by inserting said punch (15) underpressure into each of them, to compression mould the perform (9). An equal plurality of second die components (22) are provided, each arranged to form the outer surface of the neck (91), each being associated with and secured to the first die component (21), said second component (22) being divided into at least two sectors (23) to be drawn apart to extract the preform (9).

Abstract: A method for separating a portion of extruded material from the continuous strip leaving an extruder, consisting of passing in front of the extrusion nozzle withdrawal means associated with at least one cutting means; said withdrawal means and said at least one cutting means are made to move independently of each other with velocities, in the sense of vectors, which differ from each other and differ in relation to the material portion separated.

Abstract: Method for forming articles of synthetic material by compression moulding, comprising the following operative stages: inserting a first measured quantity of synthetic material in the plastic state into the cavity of a mould comprising a punch with which it defines a first forming chamber for said measured quantity; pressing said measured quantity to obtain a first portion of the article; opening the mould and inserting a second measured quantity into said cavity; closing the mould by repositioning the punch relative to said cavity to define a second forming chamber; pressing said second measured quantity and again opening the mould, then extracting said article from the punch.

Abstract: A device for transforming a random succession of unit packets into an orderly, regular succession thereof includes a vertical collection/raising unit for supplying a stack of unit packets in a random succession to a horizontal conveyor/transfer unit. The conveyor/transfer unit transfers the stack of unit packets to a vertical discharge/lowering unit. The vertical discharge/lowering unit deposits the unit packets onto a conveyor which outputs the unit packets in an orderly, regular succession, the vertical discharge/lowering unit being actuated synchronously with the output conveyor.
