Abstract: An augmented reality social network system is provided. The system allows social network users to capture and share emotional sentiment with other users in the system via simple one word postings or “thoughts” which may be associated as metadata with location-tagged photographs taken using a camera on a client device. Users are able to comment on these thoughts and their associated images, as well as provide emotional feedback by indicating an emotional response generated by the posted thoughts. The thoughts may be superimposed on images and may also be interactive.
