    Abstract: A plant for producing juice and/or puree from a food product of vegetable origin includes a treating section that causes the quantity of the food product that is introduced to be equal to the quantity of discharged treated product. Within the treating section a first rotor has a substantially cylindrical or conical shape. The treating surface is positioned at a first distance from the first rotor at an inlet end less than, or equal to 100 mm, and at a smaller, second distance at an outlet end. Downstream of the treating section a division section divides a food product of vegetable origin into pieces having at least a dimension with a length equal to, or less than, the first distance to easily feed them into the treating section.

In the hollow body a first extraction section and a second extraction section are provided both having, respectively, a sieve and a rotor coaxially positioned within the sieve and having a plurality of blades. The rotors are caused to rotate by a respective driving group in order to subject the treated product to a centrifugal force.     Abstract: A process for optimizing the efficiency of extraction at room temperature of juice or puree from pulps of fruit and vegetables, responsive to their consistency. The pulps are first cut and softened in a first section of the machine, where a rotor applies pulses to the pulps in quick succession against a stator having protrusions on the inner surface. The softened product then passes through an extraction section, where the separation is carried out of a main product, which is conveyed in an outlet duct, from the waste solid parts, which are discharged through an outlet. The rotors are mounted on different shafts operated by motors. Both motors are operatively connected to a device that controls the speeds manually, or automatically, responsive to predetermined input parameters, according to the consistency of the product.

    Abstract: An apparatus for removal of waste material in a process for extracting puree, or juice, from a starting product based on vegetable or animal food including a step of feeding a measured amount of starting product to a machine for extracting puree. The starting product can be pre-treated, for example softened, and then subject to an extraction step, obtaining a main product including the puree, which is discharged via a first outlet, and a waste material that is discharged via a second outlet. The waste material is then mixed with a measured amount of a liquid, for example water, obtaining a heterogeneous mixture. The heterogeneous mixture can be thus easily removed by suction, for example by a hydraulic pump connected to the second outlet, to be quickly withdrawn from the extraction section avoiding the risk of jamming the machine at the second outlet.
