  • Patent number: 10139529
Abstract: A deformable lens structure includes: a deformable first layer having a first outer surface adapted to receive an incident light beam, and a first inner surface opposite the first outer surface; at least a first central portion of the first layer being transparent to the light beam; a second layer having a second inner surface facing the first inner surface and a second outer surface opposite the second inner surface, at least a second central portion of the second layer being transparent to the light beam; a shaped spacer element positioned between the first inner surface and the second inner surface, and an inner chamber containing a liquid transparent to the light beam; first and second electrostatic actuators operatively associated with the first layer and second layers and positioned at the first central portion of the first layer and at the second central portion of the second layer, respectively.

  • Patent number: 4229955
Abstract: The lock for roller shutters comprises a hood-shaped body secured to the roller shutter and presenting a cavity directed downwardly, in such a manner that, when the roller shutter is lowered to its closure condition, the body encloses within its cavity an anchoring ring fastened to the threshold of the door. A straight bolt is mounted axially slidable in the lock body, so as to be capable of engaging the anchoring ring. A cylinder lock mechanism, also housed in the body, ensures the locking of the slidable bolt in its closure position.

  • Patent number: 4183235
Abstract: A padlock presents a straight shackle axially slidable in seats provided in two wings obtained in the padlock body, so as to be capable of closing a U-shaped recess defined by the said wings. The shackle is locked in its closure position by a latch pin the movement of which is controlled by the rotation of a cylinder of a cylinder lock of known type, housed in the padlock body. An armour jacket made of steel is vested onto the side surface of the padlock body, thus conferring to the padlock a protection against attempts of breaking open. The said armour jacket also serves for closing the bores for the pin tumblers and the bore for housing the latch pin, and of any other bore made in the side surface of the padlock body for housing the components of the padlock mechanism.

  • Patent number: 4136540
Abstract: A cylinder lock, particularly a rolling gates cylinder lock, which may be mounted, at will, as a right or a left lock. The lock is provided with a sliding bolt which is guided for its movement into locking and unlocking position by a guide block housed inside of the lock casing. To the central portion of the sliding bolt a rack bar is secured, in mesh with the pinion operated by the cylinder of the lock. The said rack bar acts as an abutment member in cooperation with the lock casing in order to limit the sliding movement in both directions of the sliding bolt. Means are provided for fastening the said lock to a rolling gate by using nuts and bolts.

  • Patent number: 3981168
Abstract: A cylinder lock mechanism of conventional type, comprising a fixed outer cylinder and an inner rotatable plug, to be mounted on a door frame, is protected by a hollow cylindrical steel casing which is fitted onto the outer cylinder of said lock mechanism. The cylindrical casing is partially closed in correspondence of the end of the cylinder lock mechanism presenting the keyhole for the insertion of the key, while it is open at the other end, which is the end directed towards the inside of the door. The outer cylinder of the cylinder lock mechanism and the protective casing are secured to the door frame independently from each other, and the outer cylinder can, if desired, rotate within the cavity of the protective casing. An additional protective disc provided with a slot for the insertion of the key into the keyhole is inserted between the front end of the cylinder lock mechanism and the internal side of the partially closed end of the casing.
