    Abstract: A sanding machine, in particular for processing wood surfaces, includes a support and transport plane for the forwarding of the workpieces to be processed; and a belt sanding unit with a transverse abrasive belt inside which a pressure pad is arranged obliquely. The pressure pad is divided into a plurality of pressure elements which can be actuated individually and are controlled by respective sensors that constitute a control beam. Methods are described for compensating the different distances between sensor and respective pressure elements that avoid adaptations of the position of the workpiece to be processed, in particular if the machine contains further non inclined processing units. The sanding machine is particularly suitable even for the processing of large workpieces.

    Abstract: Various embodiments described herein provide one or more of systems, methods, and software for formal modeling of business processes. Some embodiments provide a formal model for business processes that allows for expressive querying and reasoning over process models. The sanding head comprises a sanding belt entrained around an upper tension roller and a lower contact roller. The tension roller and contact roller are provided with a single translational orbital movement by a pair of eccentric shafts operatively connected thereto and rotatably driven by an operatively connected motor. At least one of the upper tension roller and lower contact roller is also driven by an operatively connected motor so as to provide the endless rotation of the sanding belt around the upper tension roller and lower contact roller. In this fashion, the sanding belt is provided with two contemporaneous superimposed movements consisting of rotational movement about the tension roller and contact roller and a single orbital translational movement imparted by the rotating pair of eccentric shafts.

    Abstract: The present invention consists in employing conveyors and/or pushers in order to permit movable planes (7,110) to be advanced along bearing guides (1, 102) showing a quadrilateral shape. The advancing motion of the movable planes (7, 110) is caused by several devices which are housed in seats, suitably profiled, of the guides (1, 102). These devices are mounted on a peripheral chain line (3, 104). According to a first embodiment, the aforesaid devices are provided with a series of small bars (5) which are mounted on the chain (3) and supports magnetic elements (4) dragging metallic discs (6) applied under sliding planes (7). According to a second embodiment, the chain line (104) supports a series of plates (106) which are provided with pushers (108) working in contrast with a spring and pushing vertical stirrups (111) which are provided under the sliding planes (110).
