  • Patent number: 11937924
Abstract: The present invention refers to a device (1) and a method of measuring a parameter of blood, preferably correlated to the presence or concentration of oxygen in blood. The invention provides to: excite a photosensitive element (18?) in contact with blood by excitation pulses, detect light responses of the photosensitive element corresponding to the excitation pulses, and analyze the plurality of luminescence decay curves at least two time windows (t1-tN). Moreover, the invention provides to: detect one or more light answer analog information regarding the luminescence curve decay at each time window, convert the analog information into digital data, process the digital data and the actual temperature value of blood by taking into account a plurality of data of previous measures of the parameter of blood performed during a previous training, and determine, as a result of the processing step, at least one value of said parameter of blood.

  • Publication number: 20100251734
Abstract: A plant for heat-regulating a first fluid and a second fluid for the air-conditioning of premises, including a source of primary thermal energy capable of providing a hot fluid, an absorption refrigerating machine supplied with the primary thermal energy, a first auxiliary circuit for recirculating the first fluid, which exits hot from the absorption machine and returns cold into the same machine, a second auxiliary circuit for recirculating the second fluid, which exits cold from the machine and returns hot into the same machine, there being provided a heat-exchange mass capable of supplying/absorbing heat, means capable of connecting alternately the first auxiliary circuit or the second auxiliary circuit of the absorption machine to the thermal mass or to the user appliances for the associated heat exchange, the primary thermal energy being hot water.

  • Patent number: 6276930
Abstract: Orthodontic bracket having a retention base for a respective tooth and identifying indicia in relation to the tooth for which the orthodontic aid is suitable. The indicia includes a sign provided on the back side of the retention base. The size of the indicia is at least 3 square millimeters. The indicia has substantially null depth with respect to the retention base, thus following the outer profile of the latter.

  • Patent number: 6062854
Abstract: Apparatus having screw means for the mandibular distraction comprising, for each side of the dental arch under treatment, at least two bands (1, 10) capable of being fitted on predetermined dental elements and fixed to corresponding bodies (5, 6) with two parallel guide rods (7) going therethrough and disposed on opposite sides with respect to the expansion screw (2) which drives said bodies (5, 6) away from each other to allow for the corresponding stretching apart of said bands (1, 10), said screw (2) being provided with a driving portion (20) for driving it into rotation under the operator's control to cause the said separation of the orthodontic bands (1, 10) associated to the bodies (5, 6). The driving portion (20) of the screw (2) is arranged, in correspondence of the head of the screw (2), parallel to said rods (7): the driving portion (20) of the screw (2) facing the mouth of the patient to be engagable by a driving tool (8).
