  • Publication number: 20240013629
Abstract: A gaming device includes a display, a processor, and a memory storing a plurality of sets of reel strips which include configurable and non-configurable symbols. A free game series is initiated responsive to a trigger condition being met in a base game. A player selects from among a plurality of options defining a number of free games and a threshold number of configurable symbols that sets an additional feature trigger condition. The options are arranged such that for relatively more free games, the threshold number of configurable symbols increases. When the additional feature trigger condition is met, a plurality of additional feature game instances are initiated. The configurable symbols are held in place for feature game instances.

  • Publication number: 20230419767
Abstract: An electronic gaming device comprising a display device, at least one input mechanism, a processor, and a memory storing a plurality of reel strips, and instructions which cause the processor to: select symbols from the reel strips for display at a plurality of symbol positions; display the symbols selected at the symbol positions; in response to a trigger condition being met, initiate an icon selection instance from which one prize of a set of prizes may be awarded, wherein each prize has an associated prize symbol; determine whether to remove one or more prizes from the set of prizes; display a plurality of selectable icons, each of the icons representing a prize; visually remove the one or more prizes; receive selections of the icons until an end condition of a plurality of end conditions is met; and provide an award.

  • Publication number: 20230267799
Abstract: A gaming device includes a display, a processor, and a memory storing a plurality of sets of reel strips which include configurable and non-configurable symbols. The gaming device provides hold and spin feature games that hold the configurable symbols if selected. Additional game windows can be activated enabling configurable symbols to be added. Only one of multiple versions of the hold and spin feature game may be triggered from any base game depending on which set of reel strips is used, and its respective version of triggering symbols. In one example, a fixed number of multiple game windows are always activated if the hold and spin feature is a first version while only one game window is initially active if the hold and spin feature is a second version. In the second version, more game windows can be activated if sufficient configurable symbols are held.

  • Publication number: 20230122122
Abstract: An electronic gaming device comprises a display and a controller. The controller may have a processor, and a memory that stores a symbol set and instructions. A base game instance and a feature game may be initiated. In the base game, reel strips for the base game are mapped for each configurable symbol. An indicator may form part of the respective configurable symbol. Upon the occurrence of threshold number of triggering configurable symbols in the base game, a feature game is triggered that converts a single game window to a plurality of game windows. The triggering configurable symbols of the first game window are replicated at corresponding symbol positions in each other game window displayed. Upon one or more triggering configurable symbols including a mystery indicator, a prize value indicator may be revealed. Until an end condition occurrence, game instances continue. An award outcome may be generated.

  • Patent number: 11562623
Abstract: A gaming device comprises a display, a processor, and a memory storing instructions. When the instructions are executed by the processor, the instructions cause the processor to select a plurality of symbols from each of a plurality of reel strips, wherein at least one of the plurality of reel strips comprises a designated symbol, control the display to display the selected symbols of each of the plurality of reel strips in a corresponding column of symbol positions, and evaluate the selected symbols for winning combinations. The evaluation includes upon the selected symbols including the designated symbol and a first prize symbol, awarding a first prize, and upon the selected symbols including the designated symbol and a second prize symbol, awarding a second prize.

  • Publication number: 20220301389
Abstract: An gaming system includes a display device, an input device, and a game controller. When the game controller determines that a condition is met, the game controller modifies a plurality of symbols selected for display to include a prize awarding symbol. When the game controller determines that a designated condition is met, the game controller modifies the prize awarding symbol to reveal an award. The game controller evaluates the plurality of symbols to determine an award amount.
