  • Publication number: 20260156962
Abstract: A linear tool for parallel metallization of solar cell substrates is provided. The linear tool includes an alignment system for adjusting a relative position of the first and second solar cell substrate. The linear tool includes a first inspection system for inspecting at least one of the first and second solar cell substrate while the first and second solar cell substrate are held by the alignment system. The linear tool includes a shuttle platform for jointly supporting the first and second solar cell substrate. The shuttle platform is movable from a loading position to a printing position. The linear tool is configured to transfer the first and second solar cell substrate from the alignment system to the shuttle platform when the shuttle platform is in the loading position. The linear tool includes a screen printer configured for parallel metallization of the first and second solar cell substrate.

  • Patent number: 12588312
Abstract: A method (500) for printing on a substrate (102) for the production of a solar cell, the method comprising: printing (501) a wet pattern on the substrate (102); extracting (503) three-dimensional morphological data of the wet pattern (104?) in real-time using an in-line profilometer (101); wherein the printing of the wet pattern on the substrate is controlled in real time at least in part based on previous three-dimensional morphological data obtained by extracting the three-dimensional morphological data.

  • Patent number: 8810271
Abstract: The present invention generally relates to an apparatus used for simulating spectrum of solar radiation and testing a photovoltaic device using the simulated spectrum of solar radiation. In one embodiment, the apparatus includes a light-source device configured to reproducing spectrum of solar radiation, the light-source device comprising a radiation plate divided into a plurality of cells, and each of the cells comprises a plurality of light-emitting diodes emitting at least two different wavelengths, and a substrate support disposed opposite to the light-source device. In one example, the plurality of light-emitting diodes emit a wavelength that is selected from the group consisting of colors blue, green, yellow, red, a first and a second color in infrared having different wavelengths with respect to each other.

  • Publication number: 20130093441
Abstract: A testing device (100) is disclosed for testing wafers (11), comprising a measuring head (10) provided with three functional blocks (12, 13, 14), each able to move independently from the others, to carry out different resistive measurements on a cell or wafer (11). Each of the functional blocks (12, 13, 14) supports respective measuring probes (15), suitable to be placed into contact with metallization lines or fingers (16), made on the wafers (11).
