  • Patent number: 11407579
Abstract: An insulating device can include an aperture having a waterproof closure which allows access to the chamber within the insulating device. The closure can help prevent any fluid leakage into and out of the insulating device if the insulating device is overturned or in any configuration other than upright. The closure may also prevent any fluid from permeating into the chamber if the insulating device is exposed to precipitation, other fluid, or submersed under water. The insulating device may include a back panel support structure and shoulder straps allowing the device to be worn as a backpack. This construction results in an insulating chamber that is substantially impervious to water and other liquids when the closure is sealed.

  • Publication number: 20220081173
Abstract: An insulating container having a base and a lid is provided. In some examples, the insulating container further includes a pressure regulation device. In other examples, the insulating container may include latching devices comprising an elastomeric latch upper and a semi-rigid latch lower configured to engage an insulating container keeper when the lid is in a closed and a secured position. In still other examples, the latch upper and the latch lower are configured in a recessed position, and flush with a front side of the insulating container lid and flush with a front side of a bottom portion of the insulating container when the latches secure the lid in a closed position.

  • Patent number: 11266215
Abstract: A closure having a first flange with first engagement mechanism and a second with a second engagement mechanism disposed between the first end and the second end. The first engagement mechanism configured to engage the second engagement mechanism. A slider configured to selectively engage the first engagement mechanism and the second mechanism when moved in a first direction and disengage the first engagement mechanism from the second engagement mechanism when moved in a second direction. The closure is substantially watertight in the closed position.

  • Patent number: 11180291
Abstract: An insulating container having a base and a lid is provided. The lid may be rotatable about a hinge from a closed configuration to an open configuration and may be secured, via one or more latching devices, in the closed configuration. In some examples, the insulating container further includes a pressure regulation device. In other examples, the latching devices further include an elastomeric latch upper and a semi-rigid latch lower configured to engage an insulating container keeper when the lid is in a closed and a secured position. In still other examples, the latch upper and the latch lower are configured in a recessed position, and flush with a front side of the insulating container lid and flush with a front side of a bottom portion of the insulating container when the latch device secures the lid in a closed position.
