Abstract: A backpack is disclosed. The backpack may include a storage portion having at least one interior space for storage, the interior space accessible through a zippered opening, and a single sash-style strap attached to the storage portion and configured to support the storage portion when worn by a user. The strap may extend over a user's shoulder, diagonally across a user's chest, and around a user's waist when worn. The backpack may also include at least one exterior pocket attached to a front surface of the strap and positioned to be easily accessible by a user wearing the backpack. The strap may also include at least one clip attached thereto, the clip configured to be securable to an article of the user's clothing to maintain the strap in place during use.
