Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method for producing microparticles of an active ingredient via an in-line recirculating mixing system, wherein the in-line recirculating mixing system comprises a mixer and a conduit couple to the mixer. The method disclosed herein comprises the steps of: (a) forming a continuous phase of a medium in the in-line recirculating mixing system; (b) allowing the continuous phase of the medium of the step (a) to come into contact with a first mixture of the active ingredient, a polymer and a solvent at a site in the conduit, thereby forming a second mixture, in the conduit; and (c) allowing the second mixture of the step (b) to enter the mixer and circulate in the in-line recirculating mixing system until the microparticles of the active ingredient are formed.

Abstract: An automatic planar image capture device comprises: an optical image input module comprising an optical lens, an image sensor and an image preprocessor to capture images formed on a plan and to convert the captured images into a digital format; a zooming module to adjust focus and sensed area of said optical lens of said optical image capture module; an image processing module to process image captured by said optical image capture module, including recognition of outer frame, removal of outer frame, tilt adjustment, reduction of reflective image and noise and sharpening; and a memory device to store in-process and processed image data. According to another embodiment of this invention, the automatic planar image capture device further comprises: a control device, including a control interface to allow user to input control parameters, to provide input control parameters to said image processing module; and a communication interface to transmit the captured and processed images to an output device.

Abstract: This invention discloses a converter for image input device and mobile device, comprising: a control module to control the operation of the image input device and its communication with the mobile device and to set format for data exchange; a data conversion module to convert, according to settings of said control module, data exchanged between the mobile device and the converter, and a data exchange format look-up-table to record all kinds of necessary information relating to data conversion. The invented converter may further comprise a memory module to record a quantity of data, such as image data, and a power module to convert electric power obtained from the mobile device into power useful to the converter and/or the image input device.

Abstract: Control system for image input device comprises a control module, an electronic equipment selection module, an image specification setting module and an electronic equipment control signal decoder module. The control module functions to control the operation of hardware and related modules of the image input device. The electronic equipment selection module allows users to select electronic equipments to be connected with the image input device. The image specification setting module sets a group of factors relating to the specification of the input images. The electronic equipment control signal decoder module provides a decoder to convert control signals generated by the electronic equipment into control signals for the image input device and a firmware memory device to store decoding information useful in decoding control signals generated by the electronic equipment.

Abstract: Digital camera for handset comprising a circuit board provided with image sensor, lens, CPU, memory and other electronic elements; a casing to fix and to enclose said circuit board; a connector to connect the I/O connector of the handset; a lead to connect the connector and circuits on said circuit board; and at least one fixing means to affix said casing to the back plate of the handset. The casing comprises a thin portion and a thick portion. The image sensor is contained in the thick portion of the casing.
