Abstract: Improvements in a self-tightening holding strap that grips onto a tube. The strap uses an elastomeric cushion with hook and loop fasteners to hold the strap onto a tubular pipe. The hook and loop fasteners allows the self-tightening holding strap to be easily installed, removed and repositioned where desired. The elastomeric cushion conforms around a textured or powder coated surface to increase the gripping forces. The elastomeric cushion can expand slightly as forces increase but retain the high grip. A tightening clasp allows an installer to pull from only one side of the self-tightening holding strap with one or both hands and using the elastomeric cushion to prevent the self-tightening holding strap from sliding on the pole. The self-tightening holding strap to be sewn onto a cover, canopy or strap.

Abstract: Improvements in a universal spare tire and accessory mount that includes a tire jack that is secured to an enlarged foot base to provide a larger lifting area to distribute the load from a jack onto the ground to prevent the jack from sinking into soft terrain, sand or mud. The mount secures to a vehicle or trailer to hold a spare tire and further includes tie down to secure the mount and the spare tire. The mount has storage or mounting features to provide additional storage of tools, accessories and or supplies. The mount can be secured to various parts of a vehicle or trailer including the bumper, hood, bed, floor or trunk of the vehicle.

Abstract: Improvements in a cell phone or PDA case are disclosed. The improvement includes the retention of a cell phone to allow for complete functionality of the phone while it is within the case. The phone is cushioned and protected within the case where it is semi-rigidly held. The case further includes an operable back cover where interchangeable trays can be installed where the trays provide a variety of function such as holding makeup, pills, money, credit cards, key(s) or other items a user might normally carry. A dust flap protects migration of makeup into the phone area. The door(s) can open from a variety of methods including hinged, sliding or rotating and be retained closed with magnets or snaps. The opening of the door may also activate an integrated light or alarm.
