  • Patent number: 7357873
Abstract: The invention presents a novel polyimide-based thin film self-assembly technology, including five process steps described as follows: (1) deposits a sacrificial layer and a low-stress microstructure layer on a silicon substrate; (2) patterns and etches the low-stress microstructure layer to provide a stationary part and a movable part of the microstructure; (3) coats a photosensitive polyimide thin film as elastic joint of the microstructure layer and defines the shape by using photolithography technique; (4) releases the sacrificial layer beneath the movable part of microstructure layer by wet etching; (5) lastly proceeds the reflow process of polyimide to result in the contraction of the elastic joint further to rotate and lift the movable part in completion of the self-assembly of the microstructure. As the invention can be extensively applied to a myriad of miniaturizing industries, it can solve all the drawbacks of the prior art manufacturing process and miniaturization.

  • Publication number: 20080010529
Abstract: The present invention relates to a motor shock prevention structure, which is a shock prevention structure disposed between a metal tube and a fixing hole of the bottom plate in a motor such that the metal tube and the bottom plate are not directly contacted. Moreover, the shock prevention structure includes integrating at least a shock prevention element and a gasket. As the shock prevention element is made of a flexible material being shock-absorbent and damping, the vibration amplitude during motor rotation won't be transmitted to the bottom plate and the electronic system due to the damping function of the shock prevention element, and the resonant effect and noise out of vibration occurring in an electronic system is avoided.

  • Publication number: 20080007127
Abstract: The present invention relates to a motor shock prevention structure, which provides a plurality of shock prevention elements enclosed by the inner wall of a shaft tube and the outer wall of a bearing to disengage the bearing from the shaft tube. The shock-absorbent element shall be made of a flexible material being shock-absorbent and damping. Therefore, when a motor rotates, the vibration amplitude generated by rotation of a rotor is isolated and damped by the shock-absorbent elements. Thus, the vibration amplitude won't be transmitted to a base, and the efficacy of electronic system won't be compromised, such that the resonant effect, the vibration and the noise of electronic system can be prevented and the normal efficacy and the operation life span of electronic system can be secured.

  • Publication number: 20080008409
Abstract: The present invention relates to a brushless DC motor structure providing at least a dust-filtering element between a holder of a rotor and a bearing. The dust-filtering element is made of a porous and absorbent material and nearly or slightly contacts with the holder and a spindle. As such, when particles and dust in air enter the motor structure to be completely filtered, blocked, and absorbed by the porous dust-filtering element, no particles and dust will get into the spindle seat to be mixed with lubricant in formation of oil sludge, thereby ruling out the blocking and locking issue of the spindle arising from the oil sludge and prolonging the operation life span of the motor.

  • Patent number: 7314314
Abstract: This invention relates to an oil retaining structure of a spindle, wherein the outer peripheral surface of the spindle is provided with a first oil groove extending spirally along a clockwise direction and a second oil groove extending spirally along a counterclockwise direction. The first oil groove and the second oil groove across each other so as to form a plurality of collecting points. In operation, the oil film formed on the outer peripheral surface of the spindle will collect in the two oil grooves slowly, and the lubricating oil in the two oil grooves will bump into each other at the collecting points and then diffuse. As a result, an interior cycle is formed, which not only prevents the leaking of the lubricating oil but also makes the lubricating oil distribute evenly on the surface of the spindle.

  • Publication number: 20070121293
Abstract: An improved cooling module holder has a main body with two sides, a cooling fan and a heat sink disposed on the both sides respectively in formation of a cooling module. The ventilation hole corresponding to the cooling fan is disposed on the main body. At least one still leaf extends inwardly from the inner rim of the ventilation hole. When the cooling fan drives air flow to pass through those leaves, the still leave enables to lower the noise resulting from the pressure resonance and eliminating the unnecessary pressure loss caused by turbulence. Another wind pressure is formed along the tangent direction of the still leaf capable of avoiding the loss from the wind pressure. Meanwhile, the cooling performance of the cooling fan is enhanced by the wind pressure, achieving faster and more efficient cooling effect and improving the overheated issue at the lower half of the heat sink.
