  • Patent number: 11209969
Abstract: A multi-step animation sequence for smoothly transitioning from a map view to a panorama view of a specified location is disclosed. An orientation overlay can be displayed on the panorama, showing a direction and angular extent of the field of view of the panorama. An initial specified location and a current location of the panorama can also be displayed on the orientation overlay. A navigable placeholder panorama to be displayed in place of a panorama at the specified location when panorama data is not available is disclosed. A perspective view of a street name annotation can be laid on the surface of a street in the panorama.

  • Patent number: 10229471
Abstract: Power management techniques include a graphics processing unit (GPU) in which the GPU determines whether it is operating outside an operational limit and, when the GPU is operating outside the operational limit, the GPU alters performance of an operation to be performed texture processor within the GPU to reduce complexity of the operation. Otherwise, the GPU may perform the texture processing operation at its default complexity. These techniques provide a degree of power control not available in other techniques.

  • Patent number: 7849414
Abstract: Techniques for anti-aliasing of graphical objects. A graphical object to be displayed on a display image may be modified to include a border region at least partially surrounding the object. The color of the border region may be selected based on the color of the background over which the graphical object is to be displayed. The graphical object is linearly filtered. The linearly filtered graphical object is displayed on a display device.

  • Patent number: 7694808
Abstract: A golf club transport case includes a first tubular body having a closed end and open end. A second elongated tubular body includes a closed end and an open end adapted to mate with and overlap the open end of the first tubular body to define an enclosed tubular body. A keyway extends diametrically through the overlapped open ends of the first and second bodies of the enclosed tubular body. A pin extends through the keyway to secure the first body to the second body. The pin has a first end and a second end. The first end thereof is attached to the first body and the second end thereof is adapted to be removably secured to a lock to thereby prevent removal of the pin from the keyway.
