  • Patent number: 11950668
Abstract: In some aspects, a convertible case (10) for a portable electronic device includes a bottom surface (18) having a first panel. A top surface (14) is moveably coupled to the bottom surface (18). The top surface (14) has a second panel. The bottom surface (18) and the top surface (14) at least partially define a cavity (34) having an opening. The bottom surface (18) and top surface (14) are moveable with respect to one another between a storage configuration and a working configuration. In the storage configuration the opening has a first size, and the cavity (34) and the opening are sized to receive a portable electronic device. In the working configuration the opening has a second size larger than the first size, and the bottom and top surface (18,14) are positioned to support the portable electronic device.

  • Patent number: 11950698
Abstract: A height adjustable work surface includes a platform and a height adjustment assembly moveably connected to the platform. A leg assembly is connected to the height adjustment assembly and moveably connected to the platform. The leg assembly is moveable between a raised position and a lowered position. A locking assembly is moveably connected to the platform. The locking assembly is configured to engage the height adjustment assembly to selectively secure the leg assembly in the raised position and the lowered position. The locking assembly includes a handle and a latch. At least a portion of the latch is moveable between a first position and a second position. The latch includes a gravity actuated lockout mechanism configured to prevent movement of the latch to the second position unless the platform is in a normal operating orientation.

  • Patent number: 10767809
Abstract: A support arm for supporting a load such as a display device. The support arm includes a housing defining an indicator window, a balancing mechanism in the housing, and an adjustment mechanism to adjust a counterbalancing force or torque provided by the balancing mechanism to counterbalance the weight of the load. The support arm further includes an indicator arrangement visible in the indicator window to provides a visual indication of the relative force or torque provided by the balancing mechanism. The indicator arrangement may include a lens in the indicator window. The indicator arrangement may include indicia to facilitate the visual indication of relative force or torque. The indicator arrangement may include a portion of the adjustment mechanism or balancing mechanism.

  • Patent number: 10634436
Abstract: A thermal heat capture, storage, and exchange arrangement, includes at least one thermal exchange and storage (TXES) array, with each TXES array including one or more TXES elements that receive a fluid flow of a heat source fluid and a working fluid, with the TXES elements providing for a transfer of thermal energy between the heat source fluid and the TXES elements. A manifold system provides the working fluid to an input of the TXES elements and receives the working fluid from an output of the TXES elements. At least one heat engine operable with the TXES array extracts heat from the TXES array and converts it to mechanical energy, with the heat engine being selectively connected to the manifold system of a TXES array to pass the working fluid through the TXES elements, such that a transfer of thermal energy between the working fluid and the TXES elements occurs.
