  • Patent number: 10650086
Abstract: Word processing software uses an interactive word processing interface to provide and maintain links between portions of a report document being edited and portions of source documents. This functionality can be natively incorporated within the word processing software or added, such as through a plugin. The word processor creates links between highlighted portions of the report document and source documents or portions of source documents. Links can include unique identifiers stored in a database. Hovering over portions of the report document for which links to sources have been applied causes the source to be displayed and highlighted in a browser interface (and vice versa). The word processing software may also be configured to determine a categorization of the source document or a portion of the source document, and apply that same categorization to the highlighted portion of the report document.

  • Patent number: 9701250
Abstract: A motor vehicle hybrid shelf assembly includes a metallic sheet body. A body shelf defines a plane having multiple apertures. Each of the apertures is at least partially surrounded by a peripheral flange created from a portion of the shelf extending away from the plane defined by the shelf. A first leg of the peripheral flange of each of the apertures is integrally connected to the shelf and is angularly oriented with respect to the shelf, and a second leg of the peripheral flange is angularly oriented with respect to the first leg. A reinforcement member of a polymeric material is integrally connected to at least the second leg of the peripheral flange. Multiple ribs formed of the polymeric material directly contact a surface of the body to stiffen the body. The ribs extend between successive peripheral flanges and integrally connect to the reinforcement member of the peripheral flanges.

  • Patent number: 9286152
Abstract: One or more techniques and/or systems are provided for securely obtaining memory content after a device malfunction. For example, applications, components, and/or an operating system of a device may maintain information within volatile memory in a secure manner (e.g., using encryption). When the device malfunctions, such information may be useful for diagnosing what caused the malfunction. Accordingly, memory content within volatile memory may be securely retrieved, encrypted, and/or stored before such memory content is flushed/removed from volatile memory. For example, a warm reset is performed to initially reboot the device without removing memory content from volatile memory. The memory content may be retrieved and encrypted to create encrypted memory content that may be stored within nonvolatile memory for later access.
