  • Patent number: 8470581
Abstract: The present invention provides methods for increasing the amount of isoprene produced by cultured cells with only a minimal increase in carbon dioxide emitted, thereby resulting in process having a greater yield of isoprene relative to carbon dioxide. In addition, the present invention provides compositions that include the cultured cells or isoprene produced there from.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 15, 2009
Date of Patent: June 25, 2013
Assignees: Danisco US Inc., The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company

  • Publication number: 20100094674
Abstract: Supply chain management (SCM) systems and methods are presented. In SCM ecosystems having multiple independent trading partners that can functions as peers, the trading partners likely lack a “single version of truth” with respect to retail data formats or transactions. The partners can utilize database connectors to interact with other peer partners by converting the partner's retail data from proprietary formats to a common transaction format understood by all connectors or by an SCM application stack constructed from SCM modules. The connectors can use a registry server to discover other connectors capable participating in a requested transaction relationship. SCM modules can be configured to support a transaction relationship according to the transaction relationships available to the peers' connectors.

  • Publication number: 20060147924
Abstract: The present invention relates to a population of nucleic acids, said population comprising a first population of nucleic acids of the same length, said length being in the range of 5-15 nucleotides or units, said first population representing at least 1% of the possible different nucleic acid sequences for nucleic acids of said length, at least one nucleic acid in the first population being an LNA (Locked Nucleoside Analogues) oligomer. The population of oligonucleotides is preferably bonded to a solid support. The pluralities of nucleic acids are particularly useful in methods relating to the capture of target nucleic acids, or as probes, e.g. PCR probes. The invention also features LNA oligomers wherein the LNA units have SBC (Selective Binding Complementary) nucleobases.
