  • Patent number: 9554111
Abstract: A non-transitory computer readable medium that stores instructions that cause a computerized system to: acquire at least one picture; analyze the at least one picture to provide analysis result; suggest to a user to acquire at least one other picture, if the analysis result indicates that there is a need to acquire at least one other picture; acquire the at least one other picture if instructed by the user; receive from the user metadata related to an acquired picture, the acquired picture is selected out of the at least one picture and the at least one other picture; and process the acquired picture in response to the metadata.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 9502073
Abstract: A non-transitory computer readable medium that stores instructions that cause a computerized system to: process a media stream to extract metadata about characteristics of the media stream; display to a user the metadata; receive from the user an instruction to generate a modified media stream that is responsive to at least one characteristic that is represented by the metadata; and process the media stream to generate a modified media stream, in response to the instruction.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 6, 2012
Date of Patent: November 22, 2016
    Assignee: MAGISTO LTD.

  • Patent number: 9189137
Abstract: A method for determining a predictability of a media entity portion, the method includes: receiving or generating (a) reference media descriptors, and (b) probability estimations of descriptor space representatives given the reference media descriptors; wherein the descriptor space representatives are representative of a set of media entities; and calculating a predictability score of the media entity portion based on at least (a) the probability estimations of the descriptor space representatives given the reference media descriptors, and (b) relationships between the media entity portion descriptors and the descriptor space representatives. A method for processing media streams, the method may include: applying probabilistic non-parametric process on the media stream to locate media portions of interest; and generating metadata indicative of the media portions of interest.

  • Patent number: 8593506
Abstract: A panoramic image is generated from a sequence of input frames captured by a camera that translates relative to a scene having at least two points at different distances from the camera. A processor (13) is responsive to optical flow between corresponding points in temporally different input frames for computing flow statistics for at least portions of some of the input frames and for computing respective stitching costs between some of the portions and respective neighboring portions thereof. A selection unit (18) selects a sequence of portions and respective neighboring portions that minimizes a cost function that is a function of the flow statistics and stitching costs. A stitching unit (21) stitches the selected portions and respective neighboring portions so as to form a panoramic image of the scene, which may then be displayed or post-processed.
