  • Publication number: 20240113940
Abstract: Historical data is collected from prior risk analysis for applications to be installed or already installed on computing devices. A risk profile is determined for new applications to be installed or already installed on the same and/or different computing devices. The risk profile is determined by comparing or correlating the historical data to data regarding the new applications (e.g., metadata such as package identifier, signer data, name, version). Various remediation actions are determined based on the risk profile.

  • Publication number: 20240057697
Abstract: A wearable device having a body-to-liquid heat exchanger, configured to exchange heat between a user's body and a liquid, the body-to-liquid heat exchanger comprising a conformal bladder defining a serpentine portion of a liquid-flow path; a first conduit placing an inlet to the liquid-flow path in fluid communication with an outlet of a liquid-to-ambient-air heat exchanger; a second conduit placing an outlet of the liquid-flow path in fluid communication with an inlet of the liquid-to-ambient-air heat exchanger; and the liquid-to-ambient-air heat exchanger coupled to the first conduit and the second conduit.

  • Publication number: 20230226344
Abstract: A minimally invasive system for a wireless circulatory support pump that utilizes a low profile catheter-based techniques and provides temporary and chronic circulatory support depending on the needs of the subject. The system includes a wireless circulatory assist pump, a deployment catheter, and a retrieval catheter for inserting and removing the wireless circulatory assist pump from a subject. The wireless circulatory support pump is relatively easy to place, has high flow rates, and provide improvements in the subject's renal function.

  • Publication number: 20230211145
Abstract: A coupling for a circulatory assist device includes a first coupler and a second coupler. The first coupler including a first inner portion configured to be secured to a first shaft, a first body extending from the inner portion, and first magnets joined to the body. The second coupler offset from and separate from the first coupler with a gap therebetween. The second coupler including a second inner portion configured to be secured to a second shaft, a second body extending from the second inner portion, and second magnets joined to the body. The second magnets magnetically coupled to the first magnets and configured to transfer a torque applied to one of the first shaft and the second shaft to an other of the first shaft and the second shaft.

  • Publication number: 20230075608
Abstract: A minimally invasive circulatory support platform that utilizes an aortic stent pump or pumps. The platform uses a low profile catheter-based techniques and provides temporary and chronic circulatory support depending on the needs of the patient. Further described is a wirelessly powered circulatory assist pump for providing chronic circulatory support for heart failure patients. The platform and system are relatively easy to place, have higher flow rates than existing systems, and provide improvements in the patient’s renal function.

  • Publication number: 20200330753
Abstract: Described is a bioelectric stimulating device for reducing orthodontic treatment time (braces or aligners) with post-treatment stability enhancement. The device and associated methods provide a native sustainable optimal upregulated expression and/or release of an increase in the quantity of the right cells and proteins over time and in the right sequence to optimize tooth movement with the braces or aligners by accelerating bone resorption at the leading edge of the tooth during movement. This acceleration phenomenon is responsible for being able to shorten orthodontic treatment time. Following the final alignment of the teeth, the same device can utilize the native response and accelerate the tooth/bone interface stability by targeting specific cells and proteins that are responsible for bone deposition (hardening) in order to shorten the retention phase, while greatly decreasing the chance of relapse (instability).
