  • Patent number: 11916972
Abstract: According to various embodiments, a networking device in a network receives traffic from the network. The networking device duplicates the traffic into a duplicate traffic copy. The networking device encapsulates the duplicate traffic copy into a multicast frame. The networking device sends, via a multicast address, the multicast frame to a network sensor in the network for analysis, wherein the multicast address is reserved in the network for traffic analysis.

  • Patent number: 11014465
Abstract: A method and apparatus for automatic charging of electric vehicles in which a plug head of a charging unit is automatically received in a receiving compartment of a vehicle charger actuation device. A push wall of the vehicle charger actuation device is displaced into contact the plug head in a manner that facilitates rotation of the plug head into angular alignment with the plug head receptacle. The charging unit can align a position of the plug head with the plug head receptacle such that continued displacement of the push wall displaces the plug head to a position at which the plug head is electrically coupled to the plug head receptacle. After a charging event, the push wall moves away from the plug head receptacle and engages a pull rod that is coupled to a pin skirt such that the pin skirt is displaced in a direction that ejects the plug head from the plug head receptacle.

  • Publication number: 20180343934
Abstract: A protective garment, such as a raincoat or windbreaker has an attached accessory extending from the shoulder region between backpack straps for covering the backpack and shedding precipitation such as snow and rain. The garment accessory includes a flexible planar material coupled in a water shedding engagement with a rear facing portion (back) of the garment, such that the flexible planar material is adapted to shed water over a created void adjacent the rear facing portion, the void resulting from a backpack or other load suspended from straps extending over a shoulder portion of the outerwear above the coupling. A slot in the rear facing portion is adapted to receive the deformed flexible planar material when not deployed over the void, and a zippered receptacle or pouch on an opposed side of the rear facing portion is in communication with the slot for receiving the deformed flexible planar material.
