Abstract: The present invention is directed to a novel cap and spout closure which provides for spout orientation, sealing, and locking when applied to a container or bottle. The present invention provides for a unique lug and notch assembly, which properly aligns and locks the cap and spout closure onto a container or bottle. The pre-assembled cap of the present invention is useful as a cap and spout for liquid laundry detergent.
