  • Publication number: 20050018032
Abstract: The invention relates to a sensor and ink-jet print-head assembly comprised in a housing for a hand-held and hand-operated printing device controlled by a processor, and a method therefore. It provides a control for navigation with coordinate systems and angles on a print medium that preferably is bigger than the assembly.

  • Publication number: 20050018033
Abstract: A hand-held and/or hand-operated random movement printing device is controlled by at least one processor. The printing device provides a control to determine the position of an ink-jet print head assembly on a print medium. Specifically the assembly prints a pattern that it uses to determine its position.

  • Patent number: 6846119
Abstract: A handheld printing device and method for printing are disclosed. The handheld device comprises a print head, a graphical screen and at least one positioning sensor that co-operates with a micro controller circuit. The print head can be moved by hand directly to the area where the text or image is to be printed, and can be automatically steered to enable a faster printout, especially for printouts having text or images spread out over the printout surface with empty space in between. The manual movement of the print head is facilitated by the graphical screen of the device showing at each moment a portion of the picture corresponding in position to the printout in progress.

  • Patent number: 6769360
Abstract: An electronic stamp or method for performing stamps where one or several sets of phototransistors (8), with associated light emitting diodes (9), are mounted on a print head (3) that is hand-operated along beams (5) with the aid of a lever (4) coupled to an upper stamp housing (1). The phototransistors (8) generate signals used by a micro controller circuit (12) in order to in real time calculate positioning parameters about the print head (3), and thus be able to steer and control a stream of ink drops intended to form a predetermined printout pattern.

  • Publication number: 20040022571
Abstract: Method and device for printing, comprising a graphical screen (1) built into a handheld printing device (20) where the automatic steering of the print head has been replaced by manual steering aided by one or more positioning sensors (4), co-operating with a micro controller circuit (16). The graphical screen (1) comprises a “virtual” window (6) showing a dynamic image (7) corresponding in position at each moment to the printout in progress (8), and serving to enable a real-time supervision of the printing process.

  • Publication number: 20040014468
Abstract: The invention relates to a mobile system for access to and visualisation of standard Internet contents and/or services. The system comprises terminals cooperating with a communication central 5 via some mobile network adapted for wireless data communication. The system is characterised in that the mobile terminals 1 are connectable to a printing device 11, that the communication central 5 is connected to the Internet 27, and that in said communication central 5a for the purpose intended stored software application transforms the by the user requested Internet contents and/or services to one or more print file(s). The file(s) are thereafter wirelessly sent to said printing device 11, whereby the users are able to print said print file(s) without having the program applications stored in the mobile terminals 1.
