    Abstract: A non-limiting embodiment of a magnetic writer has at least a write element having a write element tip and a conductive structure adjacent the write element. The conductive structure has at least two conductive elements positioned substantially parallel to one another and separated by an electrically insulating material. Each of the conductive elements carries a time-varying signal to generate an oscillating magnetic field from a displacement current between the two conductive elements, with the oscillating magnetic field being proximate the write element tip and extending parallel to the air bearing surface. A frequency of the oscillating magnetic field is a function of a frequency of the time-varying signal.

    Abstract: An apparatus is provided for bathing body parts, such as the feet. The apparatus includes a bath chamber for containing fluid, such as water, and receiving the body part therein. The bath chamber includes a bottom surface and a wall structure extending upwardly therefrom. A pump is disposed adjacent to the bottom surface of the bath chamber, and a bubble egress tube is provided in communication with the pump and the bath chamber bottom surface. The bubble egress tube has a continuous configuration which traverses a surface area of the bath chamber bottom surface having a width dimension greater than the width of the egress tube. Air from the pump is directed into the bath chamber through egress holes formed in the bubble egress tube, thereby generating air bubbles in the fluid contained in the bath chamber.

    Abstract: Positive temperature coefficient polymer (PTC) materials of high loading with uniformly distributed electrically conductive material are manufactured by first producing an intimate mixture (pre-mix or master batch) of a crystalline polymer (e. g. high density polyethylene) with an electrically conductive filler (e. g. carbon black) in proportions that is less rich in the filler than the final PTC product. The intimate mixture, pre-mix or master batch, is utilized in a subsequent step in a molten liquid form for admixing with more filler material in quantities to produce the desired loading of the filler in the polymer matrix. The resulting the admixture is extruded, shaped and formed by conventional equipment to provide a positive temperature coefficient polymer composition that, when equipped with electrodes, is suitable for forming positive temperature coefficient circuit protecting devices.
