  • Patent number: 10228516
Abstract: A fiber optic connector includes a boot receiving an optical fiber; a connector body for receiving the optical fiber and terminating the optical fiber; and a latch coupled to the connector body, the latch for engaging an adapter for receiving the fiber optic connector, the latch repositionable relative to the connector body to enable polarity change of the fiber optic connector without changing a relative position of the connector body and the optical fiber.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 19, 2017
Date of Patent: March 12, 2019
    Assignee: THE SIEMON COMPANY
Inventors: Anthony Veatch, John A. Siemon, Johnny Zheng, Alex Yao, Scott Nagel

  • Publication number: 20140113615
Abstract: A headset for wireless telecommunication comprising a speaker, a microphone, a short-range transceiver for establishing a short-range wireless link to a peripheral electronic device comprising a corresponding short-range transceiver and a user interface. The headset also comprises a long-range transceiver for establishing a long-range wireless link to a Base Transceiver Station, whereby the headset is able to make telephone calls. The headset is adapted to receive instructions from the peripheral electronic device via the short-range transceiver to initiate cellular telephone calls.

  • Patent number: 7751423
Abstract: A scheduler in a communication network comprising a communication channel which is shared by a plurality of user nodes, the communication channel having a succession of slots. The scheduler has a quality unit for receiving an indication of the quality of the communication channel for each user node. A delay unit for receiving a predetermined delay factor for each of at least some of the user nodes, the delay factor representing a level of tolerance to a time delay. A selection unit connected to the quality and delay units and being arranged to determine, for each slot, which of the user nodes is to use that slot based on the channel quality indication and the delay factors.
