  • Patent number: 10004110
Abstract: An system for interlinking communication devices having different communication mechanisms, includes a first device having a plurality of radios that are software configurable to operate on different channels, and/or different frequencies, and/or via different protocols, and a switch arranged to selectively interconnect audio signals with audio inputs of at least one of the plurality of radios, wherein the audio signals are provided by an operator of the first device or comprise demodulated audio output of one of the plurality of radios.

  • Patent number: 9143221
Abstract: A system for repeating radio signals to the outside of a structure, from transmitters operating within a structure that normally prevents radio transmissions from propagating out of the structure. • Publication number: 20150128049
Abstract: An advanced user interface includes a display device and a processing unit. The processing unit causes the display device to display a dynamic user interface containing a plurality of input areas in an adaptive graphical arrangement, detect user in puts on the dynamic user interface, and record the user inputs in a memory unit in association with a context of information inputted by the user. The graphical arrangement of input areas includes at least one primary input area, each of which is respectively associated with different information. The processing unit detects a user input for one of the input areas, compares the detected user input with prior user inputs recorded in the memory unit, and predicts a first next user input based on the comparison and the context of information associated with the detected user input.

  • Patent number: 6377938
Abstract: A system and method are provided for real time subscriber billing in a standard network routing path. Account information is stored for at least one subscriber. A determination is made, based on the account information, whether the subscriber has a sufficient balance for a desired service. Service is authorized or denied to the subscriber based on the determination.

  • Patent number: 4584440
Abstract: An electronic telephone disconnect apparatus uses a phase locked loop circuit containing a voltage control oscillator (VCO) to detect a signal at a frequency above the audible range, and the output of the VCO is coupled, through the normal connection wires, to the earpiece of the telephone handset. In close proximity to the location of the earpiece when the handset is in the off-hook condition, there is provided a pickup coil, which is coupled to the input of the phase locked loop. The phase comparator output of the phase locked loop then provides an indication of the hook state of the telephone. In the on-hook state, the earpiece is inductively coupled to the pickup coil, the VCO signal is thereby coupled back as an input signal to the phase locked loop, and it rapidly achieves lock, at which time the phase comparator indicates zero error. This corresponds to an on-hook indication.
