  • Patent number: 11908129
Abstract: Impairment analysis systems and related methods are disclosed. According to an aspect, an impairment analysis system includes a light source configured for directing light towards a subject. Further, the system includes a distance sensor configured for determining a location of the subject. The system also includes an image capture device configured for capturing one or more images of the subject. Further, the system includes a computing device configured to control the light source to emit light in a predetermined pattern to apply light stimulus to the subject. The computing device is also configured to receive, from the distance sensor, information regarding the determined location of the subject. Further, the computing device is configured to receive, from the image capture device, the captured one or more images of the subject including one of a facial movement and position of the subject while the light stimulus is applied to the subject.

  • Publication number: 20230084544
Abstract: A water heater can include a heat source and a heat exchanger that transfers heat to the water. A header attached to the heat exchanger provides an inlet and an outlet for water to flow into and out of the heat exchanger. The header can also include an anode assembly that releasably attaches to the header. The anode assembly can be located at a bottom of the header so that an anode in the anode assembly remains in contact with the water when water is flowing through the heat exchanger.

  • Publication number: 20220074831
Abstract: Methods and apparatus provide filtration for concentrating analytes, such as bacteria or exosomes, of a biological sample, such as blood or urine. The technology may employ membrane devices that implement one or more tangential flow filtration processes such as in stages. An example membrane device may typically include a membrane having sides and ends. The membrane may selectively permit constituent(s) of the sample to pass through while retaining other constituents at one side. An input chamber of the device may include an inlet near one end and an outlet near the other end, and that may permit a tangential flow of the sample along the first side surface, and a trans-membrane passing of constituent(s). An output chamber of the device may be configured at the second side surface to receive the passing constituents. Such devices may be provided in a kit to facilitate targeting of a desired biological analyte concentration.

  • Publication number: 20200103154
Abstract: A solid production system for producing a solid on demand is provided herein. In some aspects, the solid-production system includes a solid ejector arranged to loosen a solid in each of one or more fluid molds indexed into an ejection position relative to the solid ejector, the one or more fluid molds including a bottom surface and side surfaces extending therefrom, wherein the solid ejector is actuatable so as to be urged into contact with and to apply pressure to at least one of the side surfaces of the fluid mold indexed into the ejection position so as to loosen the solid within the fluid mold in preparation for dispensing the solid from the fluid mold.
