The method is executed by a server and comprises: acquiring, by the server, a first image and a second image; determining, by the server, a first mapping information between the first image and the second image; generating, by the server, a reference image based on the first image and the second image, the reference image comprising a set of synthetic pixels; computing, by the server, a first parameter and a second parameter, the first parameter being at least partially indicative of a visual dissimilarity between the first pixels of the first image and the respective synthetic pixels and the second parameter being at least partially indicative of the visual dissimilarity between the second pixels of the second image and the respective synthetic pixels.
