A busbar fuse can be electrically connected between the first and the second battery cell stack and can include an exterior thermal contact that is thermally connected to the first panel. A thermal interface material (TIM) can be disposed between the exterior thermal contact and the first panel where the first panel can form a portion of a heat exchanger.
