  • Publication number: 20240144066
Abstract: In some aspects, the techniques described herein relate to a quantum method for solving a second-order cone program (SOCP) instance, the method including: defining a Newton system for the SOCP instance by constructing matrix G and vector h based on the SOCP instance; preconditioning matrix G and vector h via row normalization to reduce a condition number of matrix G; iteratively determining u until a predetermined iteration condition is met, the iterations including: causing a quantum computing system to apply matrix G and vector h to a quantum linear system solver (QLSS) to generate a quantum state; causing the quantum computing system to perform quantum state tomography on the quantum state; and updating a value of u based on a current value of u and the output of the quantum state tomography; and determining a solution to the SOCP instance based on the updated value of u.

  • Publication number: 20240085800
Abstract: A component for a projection exposure apparatus for semiconductor lithography, comprises an optical element and an actuator, which are force-fittingly connected to each other. The actuator at least locally deforms the optical element. The actuator can be configured to minimize the loss in rigidity at the peripheries delimiting the actuator on the imaging quality. A method for designing a component of projection exposure apparatus is provided.

  • Patent number: 11630033
Abstract: A testing device for an airbag module includes a support structure to which an airbag module containing an airbag can be fastened, the support structure forming a passage which can be penetrated by the airbag, at least one lid movably fastened to the support structure by fastening means between a closing position in which the lid closes the passage and an open position in which the passage is opened, and a closure device that closes the lid in the closing position by applying a closing force to the lid, wherein the lid comprises at least one first force sensor measuring the opening force applied to the lid by the airbag when moved out of the closed position by the airbag.

  • Patent number: 11046268
Abstract: The invention relates to a bumper (10) for a motor vehicle, with a crossmember element (20) which has preferably two homogeneous outer sections (12, 13) and a central section (11) differing from the outer sections (12, 13), wherein the central section (11) is displaced vertically downwards or upwards with respect to the two outer sections (12, 13). According to the invention, provision is made that the crossmember element (20) is constructed as an extrusion and in that at least one of the sections (11 to 13) has at least one additional element (35, 38, 39) arranged monolithically with the crossmember element (20).

  • Publication number: 20180214928
Abstract: A method for producing a metallic formed hollow profile which is curved in at least one axis, in which a hollow metallic profile element is formed by means of two tool elements of a tool group which hold a cross section part of the hollow metallic profile element, on a length of the hollow metallic profile element, wherein at least two tool groups each having two tool elements which are spaced from one another are provided, wherein each of the tool groups is fixed to the hollow metallic profile element at least in regions in a forced based manner, wherein the region of the hollow metallic profile element to be formed is arranged between the tool groups, and wherein through relative movement of the tool groups to one another, the hollow metallic profile element in the freely arranged region located between the tool groups is formed at least partially.
