  • Publication number: 20250055316
Abstract: A transmit resonator for use in a wireless power transfer system is provided. The transmit resonator includes a core defining an annular groove, a coil element disposed within the annular groove, and a housing surrounding the core and the coil element. The housing includes a casing. and a metal plate, wherein the metal plate is positioned on a side of the transmit resonator that is opposite a receive resonator during operation of the wireless power transfer system, and wherein the metal plate facilitates reducing far-field electromagnetic emissions and improving cooling of the wireless power transfer system.

  • Publication number: 20250010059
Abstract: Resonators for use in a transcutaneous energy transfer system (TETS) are provided. A resonator includes a housing, and a magnetic core positioned within the housing, the magnetic core including an annular sidewall and a central post that define an annular groove. The resonator further includes a coil element positioned within the annular groove and surrounding the central post, and a metal object coated with a conductive material, wherein the conductive material facilitates reducing an amount of heat induced during operation of the resonator.

  • Publication number: 20230371911
Abstract: A new and improved anatomical imaging system which includes a new and improved movement system, wherein the movement system comprises an omnidirectional powered drive unit and wherein the movement system can substantially eliminate lateral walk (or drift) over the complete stroke of a scan, even when the floor includes substantial irregularities, whereby to improve the accuracy of the scan results and avoid unintentional engagement of the anatomical imaging system with the bed or gurney which is supporting the patient.
