  • Patent number: 9038699
Abstract: The invention relates to a blind assembly comprising a blind web (11) which is provided with one respective flexible, flat guide strip (10) along both lateral edge areas. Said guide strip (10) is guided inside a guide along the direction of extension of the blind in order to stretch the blind web. The base of the guide strip (10) is guided parallel to adjacent areas of the blind web. The inventive blind assembly further comprises at least one blind coupling with which at least one of the guide strips engages in a removable, positive manner via an entraining element (12) and via which the guide strip can be extended along with the blind web.

  • Patent number: 8955575
Abstract: A shade arrangement for a motor vehicle with at least one shade length and at least one roller tube for taking-up and unrolling the shade length, each side edge of the shade length having at least one flexible, flat guide strip which extends along the drawing direction of the shade and is guided in a guide. The guide contains a connecting link in which the guide strip is guided, and which has an exit gap through which the shade length emerges from the guide, the guide strip being guided such that its base surface is guided essentially parallel to the adjacent region of the shade length. The shaping and dimensioning of the exit gap and guide strip are such that the guide strip cannot emerge from the guide by itself. The shade length is connected to the roller tube via at least one constant force spring.

  • Patent number: 8177294
Abstract: A vehicle roof with a roof opening disposed within a fixed roof outer skin of a vehicle and a cover (10) to optionally close and at least partially open the roof opening. To at least partially open the roof opening, the cover can be both tilted out from a closed position at its rear edge and displaced in the driving direction to the rear. The cover has at least one locking lug (12a, 12b) in the region of its leading edge (14) that engages, from below in a closed position of the cover, into a support element that is stiff in a direction perpendicular to the roof outer skin. Additionally, the cover is formed at its rear edge such that engagement from below under the lateral and rear areas of the roof opening does not occur in the closed position.

  • Patent number: 7537277
Abstract: A vehicle roof with a roof opening system which has a roof frame surrounding an openable and closable roof opening, a wind deflector at a front edge region of the roof opening which can be pivoted out of a lowered position in a raising direction, and a positioning device which has a flexible element which is attached at a first end to the wind deflector and after being deflected by a deflection element is dynamically connected to a drive member which acts in the lengthwise direction of the vehicle so that the second end of the flexible element undergoes an offset parallel to the lengthwise axis of the vehicle when the drive member is actuated. When the flexible element is actuated, a retaining force directed at a right angle to the plane of the roof opening acts on the wind deflector to affect its positioning.

  • Publication number: 20080211266
Abstract: Uncontrolled take-up of a shade and often unexpected noise development are perceived as disturbing by the operator. Therefore, it is provided that a shade arrangement with a length of shade material (10) and a take-up roll (12) to which the length of shade material is attached and which is pretensioned by spring force in the take-up direction of the length of shade, has a pressure volume (46) coupled to the free end (16) of the length of shade material (10) such that, when the length of shade material is unrolled from the take-up shaft (12), a pressure is built up in the pressure volume which, when the length of shade material is released from a position in which it is at least partially unrolled from the take-up roll, the take-up motion of the length of shade is braked.

  • Patent number: 7311871
Abstract: A process for foaming around a peripheral edge area of a cover (10) for a motor vehicle roof, the cover being placed on or in a foaming tool and the foam mass (18) being fed into the foaming tool such that two foam mass fronts are formed which run around the peripheral edge in the peripheral direction and merge with one another or meet one another in the merging area at a side opposite that at which the foam was introduced. The foaming tool is made such that, in the merging area, the cross section of the foam mass is reduced on the side opposite the ventilation side (40) of the foaming tool that is vented relative to the areas (42, 142) which border the merging area in order to prevent inclusion of gas bubbles in the merging area. Furthermore, a cover for a motor vehicle roof is produced which has a foamed peripheral edge area in which two foam mass fronts, which are formed during the peripheral foaming in a foaming tool, merge with one another.
