  • Patent number: 12245894
Abstract: A system and method of measurement and calculation of intracardiac pressures based on non-invasive medical imaging is presented, wherein the pressure measurements are performed by means of the image stream with further estimation of the volumes of oscillating traceable regions within the heart vicinity. The volume estimates are tied to pressure values in such oscillating traceable regions as left/right atria and ventricles, pulmonary artery and aorta. The invention permits to assess non-invasively and in real time the pressure in any part of the heart and large blood vessels, and calculate the major markers of heart failure, cardiomyopathy, ventricular ischemia, infarction and other heart related diseases.

  • Publication number: 20210259666
Abstract: A system and method for non-invasive medical imaging based measurement and calculation of the cardiovascular pressure is presented, wherein the pressure measurements are performed by means of the image stream processing estimating the volumes of the oscillating traceable regions within the body. The invention is applicable to any part of the body transparent for imaging device capable to produce real-time image series. The image series is then processed to obtain the pressure values within the cardiovascular system. The invention permits to assess non-invasively and in real time the pressure in any part of the heart and large blood vessels, and calculate the major markers of heart failure, cardiomyopathy, ventricular ischemia, infarction and other heart related diseases.

  • Publication number: 20190200950
Abstract: A system, device (140) and method for the non-invasive ultrasound or any other imaging based measurement system of the intravascular blood pressure is presented, wherein the blood pressure measurements are performed by means of the image time series processing estimating the volumes of the oscillating traceable regions. The new generalized M-mode being the set of M-modes corresponding to all ultrasound channels is introduced. The invention is applicable to any medium transparent for imaging waves capable to be converted into the image series calibrated to the pressure changes of the liquid.

  • Publication number: 20180035971
Abstract: A device system and method for the non-invasive ultrasound measurement of the intravascular blood pressure is presented, wherein the blood pressure measurements are performed by means of the registration of the distances changes between the surface of the active piezoelectric transducer radiating an ultrasound beam into the localization area of the blood vessel or the heart chamber and the surface elements of the passive ultrasound beam reflector implanted into the blood vessel or the heart chamber. The invention is applicable to any medium transparent for ultrasound waves with the need to measure pressure changes of the liquid.

  • Patent number: 9406986
Abstract: Metal-air button cells including a closed cell housing and, arranged therein, an air cathode and a metal-based anode separated from one another by a separator, wherein the cell housing is substantially composed of a first housing half-part and a second housing half-part; the housing half-parts are configured to be cup-shaped and have a base and a circumferential side wall; the base of the second housing half-part has one or more entry and/or exit openings for atmospheric oxygen; and the air cathode is configured to be disc-shaped and is positioned on the base of the second housing half-part such that it covers the entry and/or exit openings and its periphery bears on the inner side of the circumferential side wall of the second housing half-part.

  • Patent number: 9259580
Abstract: A system for harvesting of natural power of the heart movement to be deployed entirely inside or outside human heart. The means and the method for the system deployment/extraction are provided. The system is implemented as storage “satellite” container/housing/carrier unit for piezoelectric power generator, power storage and spare volume for transported cardio stimulator devices. The piezoelectric power generator comprises embedding circuits containing the diode bridge, controller, capacitor and a number of piezo-electric elastic ceramic rods—“leaflets”, originally strained asymmetrically with accordance to the heart 3D geometry in order to obtain high energy conversion efficiency and high sensitivity to the heart movement. The innovative construction of the piezoelectric generator is applied to piezoelectric transformer based on cantilever bending vibrations.

  • Patent number: 6999934
Abstract: A method and system for processing, storing, retrieving and presenting information with an extendable interface for natural and artificial languages. The system includes an interpreter, a knowledge base, and an input/output module. Making use of an internal representation based on sorted-type theory, the system stores information in the knowledge base, answers queries from clients, and processes erroneous or contradictory information according to a dynamically adjustable set of rules. The system also stores language definitions in the knowledge base, enabling the system to communicate with clients in a variety of natural and artificial languages. New languages may be added to the system by presenting definitions expressed in a language already incorporated within the system.
